Permissions
- Klyr Lite: works within the Mac App Store sandbox and analyzes folders you explicitly choose.
- Klyr Pro: can request broader access for additional storage views. Full Disk Access is optional, granted in System Settings, and controlled by macOS.
No Klyr edition can bypass macOS protections. Some system, cloud, encrypted, or other protected data may remain inaccessible or report an incomplete size.
Internet connection
Local scanning and review do not require an internet connection. A connection is required for downloading, update checks, purchase activation, Sign in with Apple, and optional third-party AI features when selected.
Storage and backups
You need enough free space to download and install the app. Maintain a current backup of important data before removing files. Items selected through the normal removal flow move to macOS Trash, but recovery is not guaranteed after Trash is emptied.
Not provided
Klyr is not antivirus software, hardware diagnostics, remote-access software, or a general technical-support service. It does not promise to repair a Mac or improve hardware performance.
